Deltas Take on the Relay!

Its official! BU Tri Delta will make an appearance at the All University Relay for Life again this year (2007). I can't wait :)

Nice little visit in beautiful warm sunny Corpus Christi with Melissa. We didn't do a lot but when you are with your best friend, you don't really need to do much. Generally speaking, a day on the futon watching soaps and chatting with the best friend equals a pretty darn good day. Hurray for best buds

Another day of family friends football and food. How lucky can one girl get?

Dinner had about 18 people, including 2 grandmothers, 3 high school students, 4 college students, a best friend, lots of aunts & uncles. The works as far as a Christmas goes.

Hope your Christmas was equally wonderful! Merry Christmas yall

What more do you need in life? Little Brother and I hit up the Texans game with my uncle and cousin this afternoon -- and the Texans won! Then family Christmas with Melissa's family and then Christmas Eve party with family friends Mike Brenda and Bryanna.

Time to go to sleep so Santa will come! Feliz Navidad

You know you are home when you can go for happy hour at Don Picos, drink margaritas for $1.25 each and run into half your graduating class from high school in the course of about 2 hours.

But it was good! I loved catching up with Pooja, Amy, Kali and Brandon. My run-in with Carlos and David was also fantasic. Besides, I needed to start catching up on the CL gossip :)

Honey, I'm home!!!

I've been in Texas just over 24 hours and already the winter break madness is in full swing. Scrapbook shopping, bank account juggling, shoe shopping, tree decorating, Mexican food eating; as you can tell, its a rough life back on the ranch.

I'm not sure why our wall looks greenish in this picture but rest assured, we do not have green walls. Soon, this tree is going to have more than just three ornaments, its just sorta a slow process.

Leaving down under land is not so tough when you are leaving it for Hawaii. Just trading in one vacation land for another really.

In true 45-hour day fashion, I arrived in Honolulu today 30-hours into Saturday Dec 16. By noon, I was checked into my hotel and on my way to my catamaran sail trip where I took this pic and many many fun more.

Traveling alone hasn't been so bad. I've met a few other people traveling, specifically a Brit on the catamaran, a few Americans at dinner and two Aussie women out tonight. And know what? Each and everyone one of them is connected to Australia; I feel like I never left! (Brit is on his way, Americans have all been and the Aussies are Aussies.)

Just about!

Now I won't be at this home, not til Jan 8th anyways. But doesn't home look good? A couple days in Hawaii, home to Houston, visit with Melissa, playing in Austin, playing with Jane and then home to 14A. Life is good.
